2. Information we collect
Account information: the email address, user name and password (stored encrypted) provided at registration.
Call data:
- Video is not stored. Video travels directly between browsers over WebRTC; the server does not relay, record or store it.
- Raw speech-recognition text is kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
- Transcripts (original and translation side by side) are kept long-term in the user's account; contact details in them (whether spoken aloud or typed) are masked automatically.
Payment information: processed by third-party payment providers; the Platform does not store users' full card numbers.
Technical information: log data such as IP address, browser type and access time, used for security and troubleshooting.
3. Purposes of use
- providing and maintaining the translated-call service
- processing payments and issuing receipts
- improving service quality and troubleshooting technical faults
- complying with legal and regulatory requirements
4. Data sharing
We do not sell user data. Necessary information is shared only in the following cases:
- Technology providers: speech recognition, machine translation, speech synthesis and cloud service providers, which process call content only and may not use it for any other purpose
- Payment providers: the transaction information required to process payments
- Legal requirements: in response to lawful requests from authorities with jurisdiction
5. Data storage
Servers are located in Hong Kong, China. Raw speech-recognition text is kept for 90 days; transcripts are kept in the user's account until the user deletes the account or deletes the transcript.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data stored in your account
- correct inaccurate information
- delete transcripts or close your account
- withdraw consent to data processing

7. Notice before a call
Before entering a room, both parties are shown a notice that the conversation will be recorded. A party who does not agree may leave the room at any time.
8. Cookies
The Platform uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and for security. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this may affect the use of the Service.
9. Minors
The Service is not intended for children under 14. If we discover that we have collected a child's information by mistake, we will delete it as soon as possible.
10. Changes to this Policy
Changes to this Policy will be published on this page with the date of update.
